2. Alek Szahala-Chimaera (Hard Trance Edit) I dont expect any of you to be up to date on this or even no nothing about it but i thought id might get lucky....

IT HAS NEEN MADE AND IT IS OUT THERE I HAVE HEARD COUNTLESS DJ'S PLAY IT AND SEEN VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE (Is it just a promotion thing or Not)

Re: Track Release Dates...!!!!

Not sure if either of them will be released mate, though I'm in no position to say definite. I know both tracks in full cd quality were posted up by Alek himself on his various online DJ/Producer profiles at Finnish sites like Mikseri.net & Klubitus.org for community feedback. All of the links are probably long out of date given that DJs will have downloaded for feedback and play already, so I'm not sure if a label release for either would be pursued despite them not having had an official release.
Best to see what DJ RX has to say though. I only mix FINRG & UK Hardcore and do not represent the label but just thought I'd say as much as I know, to shed some light for you. Wait for one of the other FINRG geezer's decree :-)

Re: Track Release Dates...!!!!

Chimaera (Hard Trance Edit) is available on his mikseri.net profile (http://www.mikseri.net/artists/paoala.19014.php), however, it's only 128 kbps mp3.
But dunno about Sunray, before it's release on Hard Dance Icons Vol 2, Alek said he won't even release it at all...

Re: Track Release Dates...!!!!

Also add to that list, Trevor Jones - Last Of The Mohicans (Alek Szahala remix) and Alek Szahala - Lagash. 2 incredible tracks posted by Alek in 96kbps quality for previews on his klubitus profiles. I've heard Lagash mixed in high quality online before, by someone on here. Never "Last Of The Mohicans" though. It'd be great to see an "unreleased gems" collection release for Alek & other FINRG geezers work too. I think that'd be a great idea which would interest music fans. A lot of Alek's work made its way through Electronic Exposed releases, perhaps Rich would be interested in the project. Although it was sad to see a somewhat fallout & misunderstanding between Alek & Rich as I recall a while ago about his tracks on the label.

However they get released I'm certain everyone would be happy. It'd also be good to see with the work of the nu breed FINRG artists being pushed mostly these days, to also see historic works from the old geezer's resurfacing, getting a fresh mention with the unreleased/re-released. Perhaps again CD compilations of track digitals that were and still to this day only ever available on vinyl. I still proudly have all of my vine which I bulk bought off Richard years ago when I first started learning to DJ. I'm talking about "non-revised" digital/CD releases of Fisheye, Killer Instinct. I'm sure everyone here would gladly support buying into those projects if they ever came to fruition. Plus it would positively resurrect life from an older era of the sound that still stands equally among the highest quality today.

I think these ideas could provide FINRG's musical genre with an increased more wholesome outlook among other styles. It's always healthy to see history being taught and actively showcased alongside the future directions forward.

I'd be interested to know others thoughts here on this.

Re: Track Release Dates...!!!!

Seen as were in the asking mood aswell has anybody heard of ''Apofish-Binary Finary

It was a bootleg made by Alek in 2001 i got a link to download from he's site but it's not very DJ friendly it starts right at the main bass drop ''It's missing like the first 52 seconds of the track'' the mixing time to be precise.

Was the track made like this or was it just cut so it couldn't be mixed
